About

The University of New Mexico currently utilizes ITSM software (Information Technology Service Management) from ‘Cherwell’ to support the delivery of IT services to the UNM community. This software is more commonly known to the UNM community as help.unm.edu. IT Services can include:
  • IT support (helpdesk and remote troubleshooting)
  • Identity and access management
  • Incident response and disaster recovery
  • Etc.

In a collaboration between UNM IT Applications, UNM IT Customer Service, UNM IT Campus Outreach, and UNM IT Academic Technologies, the ITSM project has been established to support the 2040 Goal of ‘one university’. This initiative will work to implement an upgraded solution, ‘ServiceNow’, an industry market leader in service management to better support and deliver necessary services to the UNM community.

This site will contain information, news, and updates relating to the UNM implementation of a replacement software ‘ServiceNow’.
